Dr Sandhya Sindhu

Dr Sandhya Sindhu has been practising as a general dentist in Australia since 2017. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India in 2013 before successfully completing the Australian Dental Council accreditation process through the University of Western Australia in 2017.
Throughout her career, Dr Sandhya has gained extensive experience working in both regional and metropolitan communities, including Broken Hill, Tamworth, and Sydney’s Upper North Shore. She is a passionate and dedicated dentist who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a gentle and compassionate manner.

With a strong belief in lifelong learning, Dr Sandhya regularly undertakes continuing professional development through advanced courses and local study groups. She has completed comprehensive training in digital orthodontics, including clear aligner therapy and Invisalign®, by earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (AU & UK accredited) through the Digital Orthodontics College under the guidance of experienced orthodontists.
Dr Sandhya is also committed to giving back to the community.
Through the Australian Dental Association, she volunteers her services at early learning centres and aged care facilities, promoting oral health awareness and improving access to dental care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Sandhya enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her two young sons, practising Pilates, and working towards her goal of completing a half marathon one day.
